Last chance week end

If you don't drive a four wheel drive or tote a gun, you probably don't realize that this week end is the last week end to kill deer with a modern gun. I have not shot one this year-shot at one and missed but nothing in the freezer was killed with one of my bullets which really sucks because I've found a new recipe for deer meat and it's wonderful-really I've made it and watched it disappear faster than a buck evading my bullets.
Here's the recipe. Wish me luck in the woods.
Korean Beef Bowl
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes
Yield 4 servings
Cheater korean beef bowl - tastes just like Korean BBQ and is on your dinner table in just 15 minutes!
Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red-pepper flakes, or more to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
  • In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and ginger.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks; drain excess fat. Stir in soy sauce mixture and green onions until well combined, allowing to simmer until heated through, about 2 minutes.
  • Serve immediately with rice.
