There is a very nice trail to the top of Twin Falls. It veers to the right and winds a little bit but it's a nice easy walk. It even takes you by some nice bluffs and pretty rock formations, but for those a little bit more adventurous or of the mountain goat persuasion there is "the short cut". You simply climb straight up a muddy hill side at pretty much at 70 degree angle. Coming down there is no climbing, you simply slide and hope you don't hit anything at a great rate of speed. We had finished playing and decided to come back down the path, but Dixie and Oscar had other plans. They decided to take the short cut. A few seconds after they started down, I called them back but it was too late-they couldn't come back up and someone had to go get them. The first picture are the dogs trying to get back to the path:
The second is me going to get them:
The third-well not all of the short cut trip was made in the vertical position, but the dogs were safe and sound.
