Birthday cakes

I actually made Paul a birthday cake this year (usually I con my mom into doing this) and it turned out well so I decided to push my luck and make another one for a coworker. He really enjoyed the cake and thanked me a million times. I was beginning to wonder at his sincerity when he slipped me a little comment-"You know this is the first time I've ever had a birthday cake". For goodness sake-the man is in his thirties-and this is his FIRST birthday cake. I don't care how many people make fun of me at the office-everybody gets cake.
