The Wreck in Retrospect

My youngest had a wreck yesterday. Her very smart boyfriend called to tell me the news and very very quickly assured me that EVERYONE involved was not hurt. They made sure the other people were ok and then called the police (I guess it's a little warped that I'm proud that she knew that had to be done). She hit someone from behind and I think she learned something from this experience-like its a must to have insurance and that accidents happen- that's why insurance companies can charge out the wazoo.I picked up somethings out of her car and was amazed that no one was hurt. The windshield is smashed. The front of the car is heavily damaged. I admit I got a little teary eyed thinking my baby went through this wreck. So I said a quick prayer of thanks to the Man upstairs. When I drove through East End, they were having a funeral. Then I said a much longer prayer.

The most important thing is, she is okay. Cars can be replaced and I am sure she has learned something from it.
