I took off work to start the weekend Birthday celebration for my dad's 80 Birthday, but it's so much more than that. It's celebrating life and acknowledging that 80 is an age denied to many. It's about taking time to slow down and be in nature celebrating with the little animals. Ok, I might have given birth to some of those animals. It's about being together and making memories. Playing games, catchin' crawdads, eating smores and chocolate gravy. It's about holding some babies and watching four generations interact and love each other.
